Inside Edge needed an animated social media post to publicly celebrate Administrative Professionals Day: upbeat, on-brand, and eye-catching enough to stand out in a crowded feed.

The objective was to create an engaging, animated post that publicly recognized the hard work and multifaceted roles of the administrative staff. The content needed to be upbeat and celebratory, aligning with the company’s corporate brand identity while standing out in a crowded social media feed.
Challenge
The design needed to authentically represent admins’ behind-the-scenes work (no generic stock photos) while keeping messaging concise and highlighting specific attributes like “Connector” and “Life Saver.”
The main task was to visually represent the unseen, behind-the-scenes work of administrative professionals without relying on overused corporate photography. Additionally, the messaging needed to convey sincere appreciation and highlight specific attributes like being a “Connector” and “Life Saver,” all while remaining concise enough for a short-form video format.
Solution
A top-down flat-lay workspace in Inside Edge’s signature blue comes to life as desk elements animate in rhythmically, symbolizing how admins organize chaos. Bold typography fades in to spotlight key attributes and deliver a unified message of gratitude.
I designed a top-down, flat-lay workspace illustration utilizing Inside Edge’s signature blue color palette. To create visual interest, I animated individual desk elements to pop onto the screen rhythmically, subtly symbolizing how administrative professionals organize chaotic environments. As the workspace builds, bold typography dynamically fades in to highlight key attributes and deliver a unified message of gratitude. This combination of motion graphics and thoughtful pacing resulted in a polished, heartfelt tribute that successfully celebrated the true heart of the team.
